Care Home Manager – Nursing

Partington, Greater Manchester | £75,000 per annum | Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing care home in Partington.

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, CQC compliance and strong operational performance.

The Role

• Lead, support and develop the home’s staff team.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Maintain and continuously improve standards of care.
• Oversee budgets, costs and the commercial performance of the home.
• Drive occupancy and develop relationships with families, professionals and local stakeholders.
• Promote a positive culture focused on kindness, compassion and person-centred care.
• Work closely with the Deputy Manager, Administrator and wider support teams.

About You

• Previous experience managing a nursing or residential care home.
• Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulations.
• Proven experience improving care standards and achieving excellent inspection outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
• Commercial awareness, including experience with occupancy and business development.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• NMC Registered Nurse desirable but not essential.
