HGV Class 2 Driver

Salary: £36,250 + up to £2,000 discretionary annual bonus
Location: Oldham
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 2-week rotating shift pattern

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a national wholesaler for a reliable and hard-working HGV Class 2 Driver to join their Manchester-based team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that goes beyond just driving – you’ll be a key part of the delivery operation and the face of the business to customers.

This role will involve handling alcoholic products at times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to a range of customers
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of goods on a daily basis
• Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships
• Maintaining the cleanliness and road worthiness of your vehicle
• Representing the business in a professional and positive manner at all times

About You

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Newly passed drivers are encouraged to apply
• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
