Commercial Roofing Surveyor / Estimator (Client-Facing)

£42,000 - £55,000 + Bonus/Commission + Car Allowance + Training On Solar + 25 Days Holiday

Are you a Commercial Roofing Surveyor / Estimator (Client-Facing) with strong technical rooftop knowledge, looking for a role where you can scope works, price projects and help win the job? Do you enjoy speaking to customers, building trust on site, and turning surveys into clear, profitable quotes?

This is a permanent position with an established commercial renewables business, growing a new commercial rooftop division. Roofing is the core; you'll be the technical lead on surveys and pricing, with the option to increase your earnings through Bonus/Commission as you help convert opportunities into orders.

You'll be joining a reputable company with an existing client base and order book, now investing to expand this arm of the business. They're happy to provide Training On Solar, so you can confidently package Solar PV alongside roofing works where it makes sense, without being pushed into a pure sales role.

Based from Trafford Park, you'll identify and target commercial rooftops, assess roof condition, scope remedial works, and estimate complete rooftop solutions that can include both roof repairs and Solar PV installations.

This role suits a Commercial Roofing Surveyor / Estimator (Client-Facing) motivated by success, who wants autonomy, ownership of a roofing-led pipeline, and the long-term opportunity to help grow a team around a developing function.

The Role:

• Surveying commercial rooftops and producing estimates/quotes for roofing works, with Solar PV included where appropriate
• Client-facing position helping convert opportunities into won work through technical credibility and clear pricing
• Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (permanent position)

The Person:

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial rooftops (essential)
• Experience surveying and/or estimating commercial roofing projects
• Comfortable in a client-facing role, with the communication skills to support the sales process
