There is a salary of £28,000 plus a bonus based on company performance and benefits including 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, a 36.5 hour working week, private healthcare, life insurance, free parking, and great training and career prospects

What will you be doing as Goods In Clerk:
Based in the warehouse, you will be carrying out a varied Goods In role. Duties will include:

• Receiving and unloading stock deliveries
• Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Inspecting goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and reporting any issues
• Booking stock into the system
• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
• Labelling and storing goods in the correct warehouse locations.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal contacts regarding delivery queries
• Completing and filing all goods in paperwork
• Picking customer orders and packing securely for shipping
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring correct labelling
• Carrying out quality checks for order accuracy
• Assisting with stock replenishment and stock counts
• Support the wider warehouse team when needed
• Assisting with inventory checks, stock takes, and warehouse housekeeping

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• You will have previous experience in a similar Goods In role with the relevant admin skills to work with the inhouse system
• Stock control experience would be beneficial
• General IT skills (experience working with a Warehouse Management System or ERP would be beneficial)
• A Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence would be useful but is not essential as they will provide training to gain a licence
• Stable work history
• Accurate with a strong eye for detail
• Confident with excellent people skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• A positive and flexible attitude
