Job Description:

Kinetic Industrial are looking to recruit a Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Operative for a large, well established manufacturing company based in Oldham.

This is a hands on role within an engineering and manufacturing environment, with a focus on Press Brake operation, metalworking and general fabrication support. Full training is provided - so if you have some basic experience you'll be absolutely fine. A bit of knowledge goes a long way!

This is a temporary to permanent role working: Monday to Thursday: 8am-4:30pm Friday: 8am-1pm (early finish!)

What you'll be doing as the Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Worker
*Operating Press Brake machinery as part of a team (training provided).
*General warehouse duties including moving and organising materials.
*Fettling and deburring metal components.
*Operating saws and drilling machines safely and accurately.
*Assisting in the fabrication workshop with day to day tasks.
*Manual handling of products and materials.
*Following Health & Safety procedures and keeping your work area clean and organised.

What you need to bring:
*Some experience with Press Brake, saws or drilling machinery would be great
*Any background in engineering, manufacturing or hands on work is helpful.
*Good communication skills and a practical, can do attitude.
*Reliability, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
*Ability to commute to Shaw, Oldham.
